information from my Advocate in Rome, who has confirmed that the Bishop has been
informed, that the Supreme Tribunal in the Catholic Church has given its decision
regarding ther Bishop's actions in which he tried to transfer three Diocesan Priests.
The Tribunal has upheld the appeal of the Priests and declared that the Bishop's
actions were a violation of Canon Law.
A PRAYER
FOR THE CHILDREN OF BOSNIA
Almighty
God, Father of all, who has concern for all peoples and who calls us to live with
compassion for others as well as with responsibility for ourselves. We commend
to You the children of Bosnia and all those who have suffered in this terrible
disaster. We remember especially the children who have lost parents and those
now struggling for life. We remember all those who have seen their children suffer
from such appalling atrocities. We ask that you bless the work of UNICEF and all
those who are now bringing comfort and hope to these children. May they be strengthened
as they help those in such great need. We ask these prayers through Jesus Christ
Our Lord. Amen
