BANKER'S ORDERS, GIFT AID AND WILLS
Have you thought of using a Bankers Order? It assists us with the safe handling of cash. Have you signed a Gift Aid Form? If you pay tax, then every £1 you give to the Parish is worth £1.28 to us. Would you consider remembering Saint Peter's in your will?

PARISH CENTRE COLLECTION
Last weekend's collection for the Parish Centre amounted to £382.64 - many thanks.

COMMUNICATIONS SUNDAY
This is World Communications Day. Our second collection today goes to the Scottish Catholic Press Office.

READERS
Next weekend's readers are Margaret Munn, Michael Clarke and Tom Reid.

MÄNNERENSEMBLE UNERHÖRT
Männerensemble Unerhört, a choir from Osterspai in Germany, will sing at the 5.30 pm Vigil Mass on Saturday 3 May then join local artistes in an evening of Scottish and German music and song in the Parish Centre. There will be a bar. Tickets cost £2.50 and are available from Janette McMurdo or th

Many thanks to those who have already asked for new Standing Order forms, or increased your collections.

THREE TOWNS CHURCHES CRUISE
A charity evening cruise on the Waverley has been arranged for Wednesday 18 June with profits going to the Vine Trust for work in Peru. The Waverley will leave Ardrossan Harbour at 6.15 pm for a cruise round Rothesay Bay with a stop at Millport and return to Ardrossan around 9.30 pm. Tickets will be on sale shortly. Demand will be heavy, so watch for an announcement about ticket sales.

3TFM
Please support our local radio station. If you would like to be involved or to know more, please phone Lewis on 604612 for information. Saint Peter's will have a slot on 'Thought for the Day' from time to time.

SCOTTISH CATHOLIC INTERNATIONAL AID FUND (SCIAF) BOXES
Please continue to use SCIAF boxes throughout the year or make a box of your own. Please hand in any donations for forwarding to SCIAF for our poorest brothers and sisters.

BULLETIN
Notices for inclusion in the Bulletin need to be here by Thursday of each week. The Bulletin is available on a table at the back of the Church. You have to fold your own!! The readings of the Mass are on the worship sheet as are the hymn numbers. Hymn books are at the end of each seat. Hymns not in the book are printed on the sheet. The Mass settings we use should be familiar to most of you. Please follow the cantors. You might like to take a bulletin and worshipe sheet to any of our parishioners who are sick. After Mass, we would be grateful if you would return the hymn sheets to the boxes.

NEW CHILD PROTECTION BOOKLETS
All who have a signed a Disclosure Form to work in Children's Liturgy,
Saint Vincent de Paul Society, Legion of Mary and so on are asked to collect the new Guidance Booklet from Annie Watt after 10.00 am or 12 noon Mass this weekend.

CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations are due to our neighbouring Parish, Saint Bride's Church, West Kilbride and to their Parish Priest, Canon McGinness, on the centenary of Saint Bride's this weekend; to Canon McGarry of Saint Bridget's Church, Kilbirnie who is celebrating the Golden Jubilee of his ordination shortly; to Father Stephen Motroni SCJ of Smithstone House, Kilwinning who is celebrating his Silver Jubilee of ordination.

THANKS
Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to do some secretarial work voluntarily over the next few weeks. The offer is gratefully received and I will be in touch. We should have a volunteer starting this week.

PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS - MISSION STATEMENT
The Catholic Church in Scotland is concerned with the lives, safety, wholeness and well-being of each individual person within God's purpose for everyone. It seeks to safeguard the welfare of people of all ages who are involved in whatever capacity with the Church and its organisations. As a Church community, we accept that it is the responsibility of all of us, ordained, professed, paid and voluntary members, to work together to prevent the physical, sexual, emotional abuse or neglect of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
