PRAY ONLINE WITH EASTER PODCASTS
People and priests of the parish communities in the South Ayrshire part of our Diocese have recorded a 'Thought for the Day' style reflection for each of the fifty days of the Easter season, from Easter Sunday through to Pentecost Sunday. Each day’s reflection lasts up to six minutes and includes a reading from the Mass of the day followed by the reflection especially prepared by each contributor. There is quiet music in the background to help reflection and prayer. The podcasts can be downloaded on the days of Eastertide from
www.EasterPodcasts.co.uk and will become available as the days of the Easter season pass. It is hoped that the podcasts provide a focus for prayer during Eastertide and that they fulfil Christ’s command to “Go out to the whole world and proclaim the Good News”.

THANKS FROM GRETA
I would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You to everyone who was kind enough to offer their prayers, send me Mass Cards and Get Well cards during my recent illness. Although I still have a long road ahead of me, to know that so many of you are thinking of me is a comfort. Greta McGreevy

CHILDREN’S LITURGY
We are in need of more volunteers for the Children’s Liturgy for the coming August session. As it takes a little time to gain disclosure, we need to think ahead. Please consider becoming a volunteer, especially if your child is currently in Primary 3 as they will be taking part in the Sacramental Preparation next year or if your child will be joining our Pre-5 Liturgy Group in August. If you are interested, please contact the Parish Office on 464063 or Annie Watt.

RACE NIGHT
Saint Peter’s Primary School Parent Council is hosting a Race Night and Disco on Saturday 16 May at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 and include a buffet. All donations are welcome. Please contact Michelle.

CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Fiona Brown and Yvette Thorpe who were received into the Church on Easter Sunday. May God bless them and their families.
