BANKER'S ORDERS, GIFT AID AND WILLS
Have you thought of using a Bankers Order? It assists us with the safe handling of cash. Have you signed a Gift Aid Form? If you pay tax, then every £1 you give to the Parish is worth £1.28 to us. Would you consider remembering Saint Peter's in your will? The recession is hitting everyone. Thanks for the support you manage to give the Parish.

The site has nearly 1000 pages, 625 pictures, 269 bulletins between 1960 and 2009, over 7000 links, some audio and video clips and been viewed in 45 countries by over 41000 visitors. It contains many articles on past and present spiritual and community life in Saint Peter's. Canon Matt and the website author are very grateful to those who have accessed the site, lent photographs, passed on stories, identified errors, made suggestions and expressed compliments. The aims of the site are to make parishioners aware of current events and record our history. If you can help with this project, please contact WebsiteAuthor@SaintPeterinChains.net.

FATHER STEPHEN SHARKEY
There is a letter from the Regimental Sergeant Major of the Fourth Rifles in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, Father Stephen Sharkey’s regiment. It thanks us for the great service we are providing with the parcels for the soldiers. He says they are very, very much appreciated. Many of the young soldiers are without support from home so we are sending shoebox style packages for them. We have already sent over a hundred parcels. Any donations you can spare can be left at the Stall. For these packages we need empty shoes boxes, toiletries but no aerosols please, sweets but no chocolate, loaf cakes such as tea bread and banana bread and magazines. Please remember that some of our soldiers are female. Also if you would like to write to a soldier feel free to drop a letter - a few lines is enough - in the box. Father Sharkey will pass the letter on to someone. He is sure that they would appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your support.
