PAPAL VISIT ARRANGEMENTS
Pope Benedict XVI will visit the United Kingdom from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 September. The Pope will spend Thursday 16 in Scotland. He will celebrate Mass in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow in the early evening of that day - the only public event. The Office for the Papal Visit has written to say that tickets will be available, transport will be arranged, no private cars will permitted within 45 minutes walk of the Park, shuttle buses will bring people to and from the Park to the designated bus parking area. All of the arrangements have to be finalised with Glasgow City Council and Strathclyde Police. Full details will be made public soon and we are urged not to make any private arrangements until full information is available.

HEART SPEAKS UNTO HEART
Heart Speaks Unto Heart is a booklet to prepare for the Papal Visit and is available free at the stall.

GALLOWAY NEWS
The latest edition of Galloway News, the diocesan magazine, is available at the stall.

There will be an evening sail to Arran on Thursday 22 July. The ferry will leave Ardrossan Harbour at 6.00 pm and we will stay on board at Brodick then return to Ardrossan at 8.15 pm. We will meet at Ferry Terminal where you can buy your own tickets. Feel free to call off if weather is bad. Bring a picnic supper and a little to share.
